What is a CDFI? A CDFI is a financial institution that provides credit and financial services to underserved markets and populations. At least 60% of our loans must be deployed in low-income areas. CDFI’s are certified by the Community Development Financial Institution Fund (CDFI Fund) at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, which provides funds to CDFI’s through a variety of programs.

Small Business Loans
LHOME offers existing small business owners loans up to $15,000. These loans have a 7.5% APR and a 36-month maturity. Once documents are received, the loan review process may take up to four weeks. Most loans require collateral. LHOME offers Sharia loans for our Muslim customers.
Working Capital Loans for Minority and Women Contractors working on Affordable Housing
LHOME offers contractors working capital loans up to $15,000. Contractors working on affordable housing get preference for this product. If you work as a contractor with The Housing Partnership, Inc., New Directions Housing Corporation, Rebound, Inc., River City Housing, Habitat for Humanity or other similar developers, LHOME may be able to provide short-term financing.
